Dude, your car is on fire!

A couple of days ago I read the news that Ferrari was making a recall of the Ferrari 458 Italia. That's a car that costs $230,000 and the recall was because the cars were randomly bursting into flames. Apparently they used some kind of glue that melted at high temperatures and caused the fire. At least five of these Ferraris have burned as a consequence of that. Ouch!

When in doubt mix it all

Here's a little snack recipe I came up with last week while alone in my house. I've never liked to cook, so I often go for the easiest food to prepare. That's usually hot dogs or mac n cheese. Sadly I had already eaten the las bowl of mac n cheese and there were no hot dog buns in my house. But there was an avocado in the fridge so I decided to include that to my recipe.

Ingredients:
4 buns of bread
2 hot dogs
2 slices of avocado
plantain chips
ketchup

These are some great snacks for when you just feel like laying back and watching tv all day.

Red, yellow, green, red, blue, blue, blue...

Just a little something to brighten your day while I work on my next entry.

Tired of changing tires

A couple of months ago, two days after my birthday, I came out of University early and got on my car. I decided to eat lunch at a fast food so off I went. While driving towards McDonald's my mind was far away in better places. I was fantasizing about what I would do with the money I got for my birthday. My two top choices were a new ipod or a better skimboard. I tend to over-think things, so I thought that the money would sit in my wallet for a long time until I finally decided for one thing over the other. Fortunately for the economy and unfortunately for me, life had other plans. Since I wasn't paying too much attention to the road my car started going out of the lane and towards a roadside ditch. I heard a loud BAM! My car jumped, the wipers went on and my mind came back from where it was. I ended up in the parking of a Taco Bell changing a flat tire. No more decision making, my birthday present for myself ended up being a new tire. When I finished changing the tire and got back in my car the first thing I saw was a pickup truck with dozens of tires in the back. Life just likes to laugh at me sometimes.

It came from the ashes of boredom

Here's a photo of a beautiful Voodoo Rose to celebrate the birth of this blog.
